Diving Masks
There are several ways for us to make up a prescription diving mask for you with either distance or bifocal lenses.
Option 1
We glue single vision or bifocal glass lenses onto the back/inside of the diving mask. The mask must have flat glass lenses.

Option 2
We insert lenses into a “Scuba Spec”. A Scuba Spec is a clear plastic frame which sits inside most conventional diving masks. It is removable. allowing one to use the prescription Scuba Spec in more than one mask however it is not as comfortable as other options.

Option 3
The “Santa Rosa” mask comes with removable glass lenses. We can remove the lenses totally and replace with pre-made prescription lenses. The pre-made lenses come in prescriptions from -1.50 to -6.00 in -0.50 steps.

Option 4
HydroTac stick on lenses can be used easily and inexpensively. They "stick-on" with plain water and can be repositioned or removed as well. They are like a semi-circle bifocal segment. Unfortunately they are only available in plus powers and are only suitable for those who need to spot read/look at instruments under water. +1.25DS to +3.00DS.

Option 5
Contact Lenses! This is a great option with single use daily diposable lenses being the best. For around $150 or less, we can kit you out with professional fitting, lessons how to insert and remove them and 30 pairs of lenses. Perfect for those once in a while diving and snorkelling trips. Almost any precription can be fitted with contact lenses.

Goggles
There are also a few different options for swimming goggles, we need to know your prescription and your needs to best work out what is suitable for you. Goggles and masks must first fit well, so for both it is best if you give us a call and make a time to come and have a chat.
