Atomic Brooks Cycling Club Incorporated 2007!

With the 2007 Western Australian Road Racing season beginning in April, we would like to provide you with a brief update of changes that have been made to the Atomic Brooks Cycle Team that was sponsored by eyecandy in 2006.

Since November of last year we have successfully expanded the 9 member Atomic Brooks Cycling Team into the Atomic Brooks Cycle Club Incorporated, currently boasting more than 30 members including an 8 member elite racing team and a 6 member development squad.

In addition to the support from eyecandy, we have been able to renew sponsorship from Brooks Homes, The Bicycle Entrepreneur, Colli Timber and Hardware, Biosymm Workplace Injury Management and Wilding Kitchens. We are also proud to welcome on board our new major sponsor, Atomic Café, and additional support from Williams & Co Lawyers and Johndec Engineering Plastics.

With the expansion of the team structure into a club format and the generous assistance from our sponsors, the Atomic Brooks Cycle Club will be able to continue to develop young riders and promote Western Australian road racing in 2007; all of which were aims of the Atomic Brooks Cycling Team when it was first formed in 2004. A measure of our success to date can be seen with former members Cameron and Travis Myer, Scott Sunderland and Nathan Jones, who will all be competing at an international level this year.

As the season progresses we will keep you informed of developments within the club and results from our riders out on the road. There will be an official club launch towards the end of April and until then please feel free to contact us if you require any information on the Atomic Brooks Cycle Club Incorporated.
